Tesoros de Colombia plays an integral role in conservation by reducing the demand for wild-caught frogs, protecting natural populations, and supporting local communities. In 2024, I met with Ivan Lozano, founder of Tesoros de Colombia, in Colombia to document his mission to combat the illegal wildlife trade that threatens many endemic poison frog species.
